As a member of the prestigious national trial lawyer organization, American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA), ARONOVITZ LAW Attorney Tod Aronovitz had the distinct pleasure of recently organizing and moderating a James Otis Lecture Series. This educational program was created by ABOTA Foundation to inspire and inform selected high school students, known as James Otis Scholars, about the United States Constitution to help them better appreciate and respect what it represents.
On October 22, two hundred high school students gathered at Miami Dade Community College’s North Campus to participate in an ABOTA James Otis Lecture Series sponsored by ABOTA’s Miami Chapter. This year’s event featured several guest judges. Together, our distinguished James Otis Scholars and our noteworthy panel of judges celebrated the important and historic event of the signing of the Constitution.
The Miami Chapter of ABOTA would like to extend its thanks and appreciation to the Miami Dade Public Schools for making civic education a priority and allowing their fine students to attend.

The American Board of Trial Advocates is a national association of experienced trial lawyers and judges dedicated to the preservation and promotion of the civil jury trial right provided by the Seventh Amendment to the U.S. Constitution. ABOTA’s Foundation supports the American Board of Trial Advocates to preserve the constitutional vision of equal justice for all Americans and preserve our civil justice system for future generations.
